Throwing a Bash at the Basement

For all of you who have missed the 101 emails, posts, flyers and postcards floating around Sherman Oaks, We are here to remind you that THIS WEEKEND our art collective is showing work at The Basement at 14506 Ventura Blvd. Sherman Oaks, CA. The geek partying starts at 7:30 pm each night. There is street parking in front of the Gallery on Ventura but it's precious on the weekends. If you go just one block south of Ventura you will usually have more luck. There are also a couple public parking structures in the area.

The event is free to get in. There will be a ton of awesome art from the collective and The Basement's resident artists. We will have all sorts of comics goodies for Valentine's Day and we will be partnering with Rocket Fizz candy and soda shop to bring you some unique munchies. We will also be featuring some special guests on Friday and Saturday nights. Beach Raps, and poet Katherine Norland will be performing on Friday night. On Saturday night have a DJ and Travis performing and Amanda Carrington will be our Latchkey Girl, promoting good will toward all artists. She will be carrying around the official Latchkey. As you can see it was a labor of love.
